The District Sleeps Tonight
My friend Daniel is in Washington DC this weekend for a visit, and we've been having fun touring DC. The weather was beautiful today - clear skies, 80 degrees, and the humidity was actually pleasant. We spent this afternoon touring the monuments, especially the Jefferson and World War II memorials. The World War II Memorial is the newest of the memorials on the Mall, and I think that it was very well designed. It is a wonderful tribute to all of the men and women who gave their lives for the cause of freedom during the war.
As of Friday, I finally have Internet access at home. I am hoping that I will have my servers operational by the end of the week, and that I can start creating new photojournals of the DC area.
